Azigon IV is in the Katalis System, a small binary star system orbiting the twin suns Sulis and Geris. Azigonians are a resilient, hardy species who resemble humans in many ways, although they have a number of unique physiological differences. Their lifespan is approximately three times that of the average human, with most Azigonians living to between 300-350 years old.
Azigonians are known throughout the galaxy for their technopathic abilities, to control and manipulate everything from weapons to ships using nothing but their bodies and their minds. For this reason they are often sought for positions aboard other races' ships in positions of engineering, piloting, and mechanics, and their long lifespan means they will often stay with a ship for the duration of its time in service, becoming unparalleled in its maintenance -- literally knowing the ships inside and out.

personality
Jilula has an open and gregarious personality, always willing to make friends and comfortable interacting with strangers. Having served aboard numerous ships during her tenure with the AIF, she's well-used to working within a chain of command and to taking orders. Although she takes great pride in her work and her place in a ship crew, she's never expressed any desire for a command track in the military, preferring to leave such tasks to others. However, when placed in a leadership role among crewmates in her own division, she performs well as a responsible manager.
At present, Jilula has semi-retired from the AIF (though she remains, like all of her kind, on permanent reserve with them) and is seeking other opportunities. She owns her own three-person ship, the Trephyne, and is now exploring the wider galaxy. She maintains a lust for life and the finer things in it, and can be prone to fits of excess when her guard drops.

SHARPSHOOTER → Jilula has spent many years honing her ability with her favourite weapon, a pulse pistol, and is an excellent shot with it.
